Unable to download Mi Movistar Espana app

Hola,  I have iPhone13 with Movistar on the physical Sim, and US Verizon service/number on the eSIM.  I recently signed up for Movistar mobile service as I live half the year in Spain and half in USA, and have been using the website to manage the account.  I tried to download the "Mi Movistar Spain" app on my iphone and says not available in my region.  Looking at similar comments, I don't see a resolution for this issue of not being able to download the app.   I am able to download many other Mi Movistar apps, from many other countries, except for Espana.   How can I install the app, without affecting my other apps that rely on my current region. 
It seems a simple fix, but maybe there is a "workaround" that is available until they update the app?   Thanks in advance!
