Problem receiving SMS messages from the Internet

Hola Amigos!

 

I hope you'll excuse me if I use English, as my Spanish is not good enough (yet) to explain my issue. I have 2 movistar SIM cards with 2 different numbers. The problem is - I cannot receive text messages sent from Internet on BOTH of them. Right now I'm in my home in Krakow (Polonia) so, they're both in Roaming mode (I tried all available networks!), but it is exactly the same when I'm in Spain.

 

If I text myself from another cellphone (spanish / polish / british) - I receive the message right away. If I text myself from the Internet (for example using Skype) - it NEVER arrives. It's a BIG problem, because I cannot use my Santander credit card without SMS authentication and they only accept spanish mobile numbers. :smileysad:

 

Any help would be appreciated. If there is an english-speaking support number for Movistar, please let me know it and I'll call them right away. Maybe there is a way to receive these text messages online? Or do you know a virtual mobile phone operator where I can get a +346xxx number (Santander doesn't accept +349xxx) and receive SMSes on the web? Thanks in advance.

    I really don't know Spanish at all, I just began growing my business there, so far I spent 2 months in your sunny country.

     

    Coming back to subject - I did an HLR lookup for the numbers - they're NOT ported, Movistar says they're opened, Santander says the SMSes are sent... no idea what else to do :-(

    Que pasa tio, no quieres escribir en español, o es que realmente no sabes?, si es esto último bien han puesto Hola amigos en español, no te querras quedar con nosotros?.

    UPDATE: I have called Movistar, they checked my number, they say it's "clear"... I really don't know what else I can do :-(
